Auli - Switzerland of the East

Nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas, Auli has many more highs. There is a 180-degree view of snow-clad peaks - prominent being Nanda Devi (often known as Bliss-Giving Goddess, its around 7817m), Chaukhamba, and Panch Chuli.

These cloud-kissing, skyscraping peaks tower serenely above all else creating a picture as only the most adept of all artists: Mother Nature could paint.

The mighty Himalayas standing are highly rugged and have difficult and precipitous slopes, horned peaks, serrated crests of high ridges, cirques and glaciers, snow clad slopes, hanging valleys, cascades of sparkling water supplied by melting ice, torrential rapids, deep canyons, roaring streamlets, huge boulders and glistening lakes.
Besides, Auli also offers the luxury of an Asia's longest rope car covering over 4.5 Km. It has 10 towers of self supporting steel structures.
